  3. EHC Needs Assessments
  4. EHC Plans, Personal Budgets and Direct Payments
  5. Naming a School or FE Institution

  7. Rights of Appeal to SEND and Mediation
  8. Disability Discrimination (Introduction to the Equality Act 2010)
  9. SEND Tribunal Procedure
  10. Exclusions

This online learning is suitable as a stand-alone course of study, but is also designed to complement our Level 1 / Elementary Training Day.  Combining the training in this way will offer participants an opportunity to fully consolidate their learningand to deal with individual queries on the course content.

I learned a surprising amount from this course and I am glad to have taken it. However there were a small number of spelling mistakes in the questions themselves and some questions I felt were worded in a way that meant they could technically be answered as both 'true and 'false'. That being said I found the course beneficial.

The content of the course was good and was set out in an easy and understandable format. However there were some typo's and mistakes throughout the supportive documents. Furthermore, I found the wording of some of the questions difficult to follow - some questions the answers could quite easily have been chosen out of two dependent upon how the person perceived the wording of the question - I understand that within this type of work people can perceive actions/definitions differently however I do feel that clearer questions would help to support the development and understanding of people undertaking this training. Finally there was an instance (in the lower modules) where questions were asked that linked to a further module within the course - this made it difficult to answer without any underlying knowledge, which as you can imagine when you then did get to the point where this was made clear it can be quite frustrating due to the confusion with previous questions. Overall it was a good informative course.

The course was good and very detailed. The support was amazing especially on the phone. It would have been better if I could have seen the wrong answers as I could have learnt from them.
