Description

We have devised IPSEA's Level 3 training as an Advanced Level training for those who have successfully completed Level 1 and Level 2. It will enable you to take your understanding of the law relating to the education and training of children and young people with SEN and disabilities even further, but with a particular emphasis on gaining knowledge to support parents and young people to bring different types of appeal to the SEND Tribunal.

Summary

  • The course is in nine sequential modules
  • All modules must be undertaken to complete the course
  • The pass mark is 75%, on successful completion you will receive a certificate which details your proficiency in each module
  • Learners do not get an index of wrong or right answers. If you score lower in particular modules you can refer to the resources to refresh your learning
  • If you fail the pass mark you are given one more opportunity to complete the course.

This online course is suitable as a stand-alone course of study, but is also designed to complement our Level 3 / Advanced Training Day. Combining the training in this way will offer participants an opportunity to fully consolidate their learning and to deal with individual queries on the course content.

This Level 3 training is suitable for participants who have prior knowledge of the subject or who have completed both the Level 1 and 2 IPSEA training.

I found the course to be overall quite good. The content was engaging and well-structured, which made the learning experience enjoyable. However, I did notice that some of the material appeared biased, which affected the objectivity of certain topics. Additionally, a few of the quiz questions were confusing, particularly those with double negatives, which could be clarified for better understanding. Despite these issues, I am generally satisfied with the course and appreciate the effort that went into creating it. Thank you!
